For MOM, the pesky Kingfisher! You know I can ID these birds when they are still just specks in the sky. They fly like a Kingfisher, look like a Kingfisher, etc. I am noticing this bird all over the marsh. No longer just sitting, at least not near me.
So, I am still trying to "get" that Kingfisher shot. Wanted to show you that I regularly shoot them. My lens wouldn't focus he was so small and at a distance, so I tried manual. These aren't great, I mean I doubt anyone would buy them, but they will go into my Kingfisher Gallery as a record of how hard I am trying. Remember the white on the face is characteristic of a Kingfisher, the eye is behind the white. I can't get it to show at this distance, etc.
