Clarified Butter: same day, those troops had to eat, and it looked like they ate very well! Photo looked safer to me, but it just didn't tell the story IMO, could have been too many things. So I didn't use it. Any comments, opinions? I have another choice, too, however......have used up my quota, I am sure. As soon as I know others opinions on this, I will pick one and put the others back in my Work photos.
Outside Fort Moultrie, in the days before the "Civil" war. A peaceful reinactment.
Southerners, in case there would be a question of which side these people would have been on. They worked they waited. Men came to enlist....
These people are not acting, they are getting ready to leave. The woman is hot and wiping herself with a handkerchief. The couple are probably making plans for the "drive" home. Kind of surreal, a trip in Time. Lives lived in the present enacting the past.
right after LAB, don't know if I had tried to get the faces less red yet. They had been out there three days, were sun "worn". I think their faces were red.
whatever, which one do you all like best. Come on, vote. Andy might think it is easy choosing your BEST, but I have problems with an "average" photo. Will put up a safer one, but less interesting, IMO, from same event!
