God's market (I got locked in the strawberry and vegetable patches, along with the blackberries. Getting out was quite an adventure. Remind me to tell you about it some time.) The Field Crew: I was amazed and felt so fortunate to see actual workers, with a truck even, out in the fields. These are vegetables: the cucumbers in the red containers, the yellow squash on the left. It is my more favorite photo, I think. I put it up thinking that someone might want to see it: it is such a classical scene that I never expected to get.
Or to actually see. It could be the 1930s or 40s, if one were not too picky on the containers and the truck model (no license tag, purely a "field" vehicle. Uh, I can't drive there, I walked! g

Turned out, there didn't have to be.
Indigenous (NOT): bird yes, tree brand new......a whole line of them on my beautiful old Pitt St Bridge Path. Bird looks a bit surprised, too.
