Daisies Of The Night
(Pun Intended)
For Monday
Migration Restlessness,
or some such foolishness, a few
birds were there.......about this
many. Didn't do anything. I
started to leave, and they took off
on this "fly about". I photographed it. They settled back down, and nothing else happened. I left. It is a strange barren autumn world out there. Few birds, no butterflys.
Strange, I have never seen birds do this before.
Here is another example just before this shot:

HAH! A squirrel as we experience each other, OOF a bit and very wary!
They seemed to like the gloom in the area. Running, playing, until I tried to get this close, closer?, to photograph them, then it was up the trees. Eventually it was into the thick grass and trees around the marsh lake.
I did get to see them play, though.
I don't think I will ever see a squirrel lounge. smile,

Have a good day, and be very, very careful...a squirrels motto!
My Motto: smart sharpen used selectively can help a lot.
An Impression Of Flowers
shot 10/17 for Friday
Almost dark on a cloudy day.
Bright they were against the mossy trees,
my setting was that I would have used for an egret.
it worked. except for the dof, am going to play with that.

he looks for breakfast at Pitt St Bridge just about every morning, I heard. I want that Hawk in my camera!!!
Finally, I have a mission in life, a goal, a raison d'etre.

The Photographer
10/21/2006
(I left the horizon, it feels right to me like that) Maybe I should add that this may be a bit soft...... what can I say about that. I still like it, and I wanted to share.
The other choice for today:

Link to a photo of the activity going on behind me. OOF photo, I tried using a watercolor filter and black and white. Neither worked well, wish it had been in focus. But I don't know that I saw the beach for trying to get a photo of every happening........and a wedding besides, smile.
