Beanie Babies On Message

Gary Fong thing on flash
For Saturday (now)
I know that the USA is
in focus, soft around the
bear. I will try it again
if you all think it could
be better.
Uh, come get my beanie babies, please!
These are kinda rejects that are in a trunk.
These Yellow Butterflys
were all over those purple
flowers. Beach House in
the background.
Truly Southern Autumn Colors!

Please see the second and third
photo posted in my butterfly
gallery (one of them), I did it
last night, took them all and more
at the same time.
Gosh that was a lovely hour or so, I felt like I was in a movie, I
just sat on a low wall thing and
watched the butterflys flit.
I may do it again today, smile,
or not?
Please see this:

(second and third) on the butterfly page linked to dGrin.
and any suggestions on the post would be welcome. I wanted to portray the soft southern feeling.
I think this may be a "moth", thusie said so. I guess then it would be a "Buttermoth"???
Anyway, this is just for fun, not serious, I wanted to try to work up one of these differently. I like it, but I have others to post for tomorrow. Just sharing.

for Wednesday
I sat in my car for a while,
so that the birds might get
used to me. I photographed
the butterflys.....I came back
and watched the birds again.
by that time they were quite used
to me. The tree was very large,
the lighting difficult, but I loved
having access to all of these little birds. I had never seen
anything like this before.
about 2 PM with my 400 and an

Late Afternoon, Clouds Gather
empty, silence, expectation
of what....people, rain, birds
Changed by time, yet twenty
years the same.
Ghosts drink beer, tell fish stories in broken chairs.
I was there.
Now, the wealth, the luxury
of silence, a well stocked bar,
I am not here, not really.

Breach Inlet Marina
Retired and happy in South Carolina. A Sunday Fisherman.
We are happy here, but the air
at Pitt Street Bridge was a bit
chilly!
Please see the alternate of those moments alone with nature, and the photographer who
won't stop taking photos, smile:

Another happy southern fisherman
I chose this one of him as I am
reflected in his glasses, though I doubt that you can see me. You might get more idea of what is seeing by the reflection.
He was very nice. He was in mid cast with his fish pole when he stopped and was totally aware of me. I laughed and said, "Let her rip". That is all I said, except my mumbling about "birds".
Also, due to fortunate circumstances I have two cameras around my neck: my 30D and my sick 20D, or bill's 20D. Either way that allows me to have a lens for the people and a lens for the birds. Makes my mumbling somewhat believable, and my neck a bit sore, smile. Fortunate for the moment!
Here is my alternate: it shows this same man from more of a distance. This bridge used to be for a trolley across the marsh and the inland waterway to Sullivan's Island, so in this photo you can see the island, with Stella Maris church where I go, and the inland waterway with a boat.
Happy people!!! me and them....
