at lift off.
The Statue on top of my church on Sullivan's Island, SC. This statue can be seen from sea, it is a landmark and a guide for ships arriving at the Charleston Harbor. This is the first photo I took as I saw the birds on the statue, particularly the bird on Mary's hands. I found it a compeling sight and photographed it from several angles. I always take a photo immediately when I see a scene, for fear that it will change immediately. This is, as I said, the first photo. It shows what I first saw. This statue is on top of a steeple.

This is a blk and white version from a different angle and taken with my "birding" lens, the 400mm.

photo from yesterday on Daily. A "dressed" Clydesdale in front of a large trailer with the sign and all. Actually the one I used was cropped a tad.
Moving Out, notice that the girl has been replaced by two men. They have gorgeous red blankets. I think they were still cold. They probably thought the south would be warm, smile.
Putting the Dalmation on the thing
Sitting Proud and alert. A very cool and well behaved dog. I have a lot, or I did, of close ups of the girl and the dog, but the girl looks miserably unhappy. It was cold!!!
It took 10 minutes for this photo to show up, I am going to leave it.
Going Home down a Charleston
alley. The Palmetto Carriage
horses are stabled here. I like
to just sit outside in the alley
to see what might come along.
Kind of "birding" in the city.
It is peaceful. This is with
my Christmas decoration theme,
as they stable is decorated. The
outside decorations are seen here.
The inside ones..........are my
Daily Photo.
Christmas Tree Ahead
Last Light while standing in the middle of the road. I was determined to catch that last light on a few of the far right buildings. We do what it takes, don't we.....
