Jump To June
Read MoreGod's market (I got locked in the strawberry and vegetable patches, along with the blackberries. Getting out was quite an adventure. Remind me to tell you about it some time.) Forgot to mention that I know the sky is blown. The sun was over there. Some had flare. I decided to accept the blown sky, looks like that in the heat and steam here anyway. ginger
The Field Crew: I was amazed and felt so fortunate to see actual workers, with a truck even, out in the fields. These are vegetables: the cucumbers in the red containers, the yellow squash on the left. It is my more favorite photo, I think. I put it up thinking that someone might want to see it: it is such a classical scene that I never expected to get.
Or to actually see. It could be the 1930s or 40s, if one were not too picky on the containers and the truck model (no license tag, purely a "field" vehicle. Uh, I can't drive there, I walked! gJumping To June

I am leaving the other
one on for comparison.
thanks, Rutt (this may not
be that good, I did it from
memory of what I thought you said.
also, I did get a white balance in
raw, then I adjusted it to a compromise. I used to do that, have gotten lazy. This may need more contrast, or not.)The Edge Of A Ledge:
little birds, I had to find
where they were landing, so leaning way over the unstable rope, I took a few photos of the few birds who landed where I could see them. They were flying here, there and everywhere. I just looked in my bird book, but I have no idea. even though this photo has issues, I like it. Life On The Edge Of A Ledge. The Man from off

Sullivan's Island Beach
after sunset
You take a pretty child, put her/him all in white.....go to
the beach: a great photo is a guarantee right? If the child feels like it, and this child was a trial. They asked me to stop shooting while they were working.
It was probably my fault that the child decided to act like a child, smile. gingerChildren on the rocks: that is what we do in the Carolinas, we put our children on the rocks.
Well, I just had to, I was told to leave them alone, so I will not get this opportunity again this year, probably. And I know they did not take this shot as the oldest girl was being a trial to them! ginger (if you want, I will take another one down, but my favorite is the wide angle one with the adults acting like the children, and vice versa. But I can take it down.)
You might notice that this is a bit thin, maybe slightly soft...well, they were using flash and the sun had way set.
The first thing they did was over excite the children, then they were surprised at this behavior, smile. gBill, my car, top tier of a Charleston, SC parking garage

He is waiting for me to do this daily "assignment". I did not spend a lot of time trying to show that the lot was totally empty up there, but just thought it was interesting how Bill waits. As you can imagine, he gets a lot more books read than I do. gingerPainted Wall (reproduction) and paints and stuff

This is another place I can never photograph again.........the man was working his parking lot so I wandered in the shop and took photos. He discovered me, and said "NO PHOTOGRAPHS". I hate rejection! ginger (but I love all the colors in this photo!)
