I am so proud of my daily for today I could just burst. I had walked back to my car after taking this photograph, and I saw the run down type neighborhood. I was after just design shots for CCC, and I saw this girl was going to walk through my design. So, it is a combination of street photography and a design shot, for prime time, I think.
I am just tickled that I did a street shot!!!

This is the backyard. These signs are all over. I chose to show the one in the backyard, more cluttered, harder to read, but serves the purpose of showing some context.
You might note about half way down the sign there is a reference to 9/11. The big sign seen from the road makes a slightly more compelling reference.......it was a choice as to which to show.

As I mentioned with the statue, I usually do both pieces and a far view.

I chose this one to show as it has the "fire escape" words on it. I didn't like the "pieces" unless they included the window, I suspected that it would be that way. The window makes it more "mine" as a photograph, rather than just a copy of "his" art. IMO.

This is the main road coming off the freeway (our only freeway, for the most part). It goes from one brige to the other, it crosses the peninsula. Many tourists see it. As does everyone else. It is a glorious mess. I love it. But the powers who be want to clean it up, of course. So I am trying to photograph it before it is "Disneyfied".
I go down this road 2/3s of the way across the peninsula, then turn left to go to the hospital area and my doctor's office. 10 minutes from home, or so.

I do think this looks better. I definitely wanted to keep the context of the cars, and the side street, but I do think this shows the house more as a subject. Thanks???
