Carolina Peaches, nothing better!Cardinal At The Stable

I might add that we were leaving, and I was carrying my camera with my 100mm macro on it. And I saw this cardinal. I have been trying to photograph a cardinal all spring, and here I am with a "short" lens. Actually, I am lucky he was where he was, for a minute...........he left and not for better photo ops. smile, gThe Gator And Two Turtles: it was a warm June day........
(Rutt, and all, I did not use blur, I don't know why it looks

You might want to note that photo, shows more of the whole scene. Pretty! Actually one of the most beautiful scenes there, IMO. I had only seen it in the morning before. I was dubious that it could be photographed in the afternoon with the light on the other side. I worked with that fact in mind. And I got "chased" by another gator in the process.
gThe Butterfly in the afternoon
OK, I cropped it like you all wanted. Do you like it better????
A thousand thumbs for "YES", smile.

I tried cropping the photo, I will post the link below this. I did not like the composition as well, let me know if you do, please. So I darkened the bright bud at the end that was distracting. I also emphasized the lighting on the butterfly. He does blend in.
