Otter took a last glance before swimming off. I wonder what he "saw". Animals are so like people to me. Nothing like anthropomorphism to the extreme.
A litte further down the trail of the Santee Delta, here he was again... or another one. He did not stick around this time. And the poor otter, he went back where he came from. He could have swam/swum out to the North River if I had not interfered accidentally with his crossing.
And I should have taken these photos and come back home. Pick of the day!!!
