I did not get releases, but I did ask permission. I really did not feel comfortable taking photos of these people w/o their permission.
Where they are is their "safe place". Some people were OK with it, some were not. This man wants a copy of his photo asap.
Also, they make money this way, however I had no money to give them. As soon as I get some, I will take some photos I couldn't yesterday, plus I will donate to the Crisis Ministries. Bill was with me and could tell me what people were saying, but I could not hear a word. I wish I could, actually more interesting (and more fun) than a cocktail party!
