• Red Tailed Hawk: up a tree where they wander at will constantly foiling most opportunities to see or photograph them.

Thusie, is this a juvenile, a baby? It doesn't look or act like a parent, and they have at least one of those coming and going. I think there might be more than one nest.......

That is Spanish Moss, the grey stuff. I thought I had over exposed everything, but it was a good thing I "did". The underside of a bird is a "dark" place.

And I almost fell over many times while looking up, trying to find the birds, photograph them and dodge cars coming down the exit road.

If I post this on dGrin would you expect the blown sky to be mentioned, smile. I love the photo the way it is. I don't want any photo site telling me how it could have been better: yeah right, and they should have been there!

I also got a Pileated Woodpecker, going to put him on the bird group and the dGrin group. I will post this stuff eventually.
I took photos of Bill and I had him take one of me, I might post that in the People thread on dGrin, so you all might want to look there.

 • He is in the nest, I am not! Optical illusion here, or maybe it is just I who is confused.
