In the opposite direction, from whence the sun set.
I have taken this photo a gazillion times.......if I were on vacation and had never seen it before, I would have used it, smile.
Notice that there is more "yellow" in the sky towards the sunset.

towards sunset, really weird and brighter than this. a lot of pink. I took the shot just to look at the pink, nothing of interest. I don't like sunsets just for the sake of a sunset. that is just me. However, this does look interesting darker.
But this is not messed with, just to show you the colors, different from other times, though often there is magenta at first in the sunset, last night there was more magenta than I have ever seen before, did change to orange just before complete dark.

Note in the previous ones there were some bushes in the middle, I thought they were distracting. I actually don't think anything matters here. I probably should look up a LAB tutorial on colors or something. The actual photo was underexposed, but not by a lot and the detail was there.
This looked a little green, but the following ones, less green, more yellow, they didn't seem better.

I told him I would not print up the dog photos if he did not pose for this. Yesterday morning. He gave me five minutes. I told him to use those props.
He doesn't look suicidal there, does he. We can "LOOK" normal. One would never know that the cell phone bill is two months behing (I found that out last night)......and that we just added an 100.00 smashed window to our list of stuff.

This man was nice! I felt safe then. But I didn't feel safe enough to walk all the way down in the fog. He might have left....

A gradient filter on the same photo, I don't like it here, looks kind of dirty (I could have used a different one). I am getting hyper critical of all photos and I am not good enough a technician to do them "right".
Shem Creek. I thought a shrimp boat would look better with fog. The fog kind of lifted in this area, but the water was smooth as glass.
It is supposed to be foggy all night.........and into the morning, maybe. I would like to get a photo of the bridges, but don't know where to go to do it and feel safe, too.

Solitary Fisherman: Pitt Street Bridge winter scene.
I think this was a sepia gradient. I like it best of all the ones, so far. And I should stop with this photo as I have others to do.
For only two hours, or whatever (dogs were home hungry), it was a very productive shoot!
