Path by the side of a stream
in the woods. Leaves under
foot from the fall of the
seasons. Green in the trees
for the spring of the year.
I love the new growth of green,
such a pretty and fleeting shade.
In the foreground are roots from
a large tree. A beautiful place
but I am a bit old for such
foolishness, sad to say. I made
it back, barely.
